Wish List 2012

Admit it! You also have a sort of “Christmas Wish List” in mind. Well, even not a list; everyone always have that “Little Things”or “One Thing” that we wish to have. Wait…those words i just wrote sounds like the songs of One Direction,, oh they are! Going back… since i am a human too; though i look like an Angel sometimes, and a Devil most of the times i also have some wishes in mind. I know you’re not asking, but in case you need a little help on thinking what you want for your wish list, maybe this can help I really think you don’t need any help, i just use that as a reason i can write this post and then maybe my GOOD FRIENDS would be able to read this and be my Genie-er-Santa this Christmas, So please pretend you’re interested and read this LOL.
Below are my Wishes, i grouped them into 2, for cheaper ones and little more expensive ones.

1. A Red “Philips SHL 5000 Headphone” – I’m such a Music Fan that i listen to my radio/music player as soon as i wake up ( will actually after i take a shower at least ☺)

2. Pikachu (Pokemon) Pillow – I just love Yellow Colored Cartoon Characters and i just recently decided to collect Pikachu Stuff (like last night lol) . I also love to sleep, if i got a chance (I have this Vampiric nature sometimes, not that i suck blood but i rarely have decent sleep)  and i always thought that my voice sound like Pikachu’s, so there.

3. Magazine Boxes/Organizer/Portable Girly (Kikay) Drawer – I really need this so i can finally have a “Clutter Free”work station.

Okay, now lets proceed to a “Little” more Expensive Wishes:

1.  Gadgets, Preferably a DELL not the singer “Adele”#FailJoke , any Blackberry Phone would do i’m not that choosy LOL, and an IPOD Touch i just think its cool.

2. “Drums Set”from Pearl – I know, i know its getting more and more expensive as your scroll down haha. I always love to learn how to play Musical Instrument and i just started to “try”to learn how to play drums, well they just thought me the basic but its kinnda hard since i don’t have my own drums you know. :p

3. DELL Precision Mobile Workstation (Laptop) – Oooops! Yes its outrageous because its a quality product. I’ve seen and tried one in a DELL Electronics Show and i fell in love with the product. Its super awesome to the Nth degree multiplied to 1M superlative. Check it out! See? See? oh yeah it looks so plain, not that stylish or girly. but its fast  and beautifully the best!
So that’s it! Oh i forgot to say i accept Gift Certificate or Check in case you’re busy so i can just buy those myself. I’m just joking, but jokes are half meant; please bear that in mind dont keep that BEAR in mind though hohohoh. You can also send the gifts to me but i think its better if you bring it to my house like 12mn of December 24th wearing a Sta Claus costume, and i promise to pretend like i believe you’re a real Santa even if you’re not. Just please don’t kiss my Mama. Alright that’s it. Best Wishes!!! err- Advance Happy Holidays instead… ╭(╯ε╰)╮~  Angel Rhayne

Hey, I just met you… and this is crazy, but here’s my number… pa-load ng 20

Here are some teaser from Tom Hooper’s film adaptation of Victor Hugo’s 1862 novel and stage musical, ‘Les Misérables

This features the most poplar song from the musical, ‘I Dreamed a Dream,’ by Anne Hathaway. She doesn’t sing it like Susan Boyle, but it’s a soft, sweet version of the song, and it really ties the trailer together.

This film is hard for me to nail down. Conventional wisdom would tell you it’s going to be a smash hit, but one can never tell with musicals. Plus, like I wrote earlier this week, there have already been many adaptations of Les Misérables. That’s not to say people won’t be excited about this version, but they may choose to take their families to other highly anticipated films hitting theaters this Christmas. If you have seen the broadway show and other adaptations, you may wait for the BluRay. But who knows?

This film does have an epic cast. When I say epic, I mean that in thirty years, young men and women like me will say, my god that film had a lot of legendary actors. The three leads, Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe and Anne Hathaway, will all be legends by the time they reach their old age or, god forbid, pass on. So the question will be, are these new faces in the same old roles enough to make you fork over your hard earned money? We will find out this December.

Official  Les Misérables Synopsis

Les Misérables is the motion-picture adaptation of the beloved global stage sensation seen by more than 60 million people in 42 countries and in 21 languages around the globe and still breaking box-office records everywhere in its 27th year.

Set against the backdrop of 19th-century France, Les Misérables tells an enthralling story of broken dreams and unrequited love, passion, sacrifice and redemption–a timeless testament to the survival of the human spirit. Jackman plays ex-prisoner Jean Valjean, hunted for decades by the ruthless policeman Javert (Crowe) after he breaks parole. When Valjean agrees to care for factory worker Fantine’s (Hathaway) young daughter, Cosette, their lives change forever.

In December 2012, the world’s longest-running musical brings its power to the big screen in Tom Hooper’s sweeping and spectacular interpretation of Victor Hugo’s epic tale. With international superstars and beloved songs–including “I Dreamed a Dream,” “Bring Him Home,” “One Day More” and “On My Own”–Les Misérables, the show of shows, is now reborn as the cinematic musical experience of a lifetime.

The Best Kutsero (Coachman) of all Season

Mr. Carlito Butay is the best Coachman (Kutsero) that i ever met. He is a Coachman in Vigan City, Ilocos Sur. Vigan is a one of the best Heritage Site in the Philippines and one of the few Hispanic Towns left in the country. We went there to explore the Historical and Wondeful Place. While we are walking around Kuya Carlito the coachman approach us if we want to have a ride. He offered us a very affordable rent/hour. He said he will tour us around. We were so lucky we have a Coachman and a Tour Guide at the same time.  He also introduce us to the Female Horse named Guerrera. Kuya Carlito is so nice and accommodating. While on the way to diff places he kept conversation. Most about the places and culture in Vigan. I noticed he is a great Historian too. He told us some events that happened in the city during when we where in Spanish colony. He told us a lot of things and events about the city that i only heard then. He didn’t just drive us to places, he also accompany us and tour us around some free places like “The Hidden Garden” and the “Bantay Bell Tower”. What amaze me more is how great a photographer he is. He offered to be the one to take us pictures, he even asked us how to pose properly.

We really enjoyed his company and that’s what make me write this blog about him. He is not just a Coachman but a Friendly Tour Guide and a Great Photographer as well. Below is his contact information, in case you come by Vigan and would love to ride around you can look for him.

Happy National High Five Day – worldwide Trending Topic on 4/20

I was thrilled as i seen this trending topic. Why? Because the #HighFive thing is so popular in one of my favorite Radio Show on Monster Radio RX 93.1  (Facebook Page: http://www.facebook.com/rx931 ).  This show is called “The Morning After” (Tumblr Podcast Blog: http://themostsleepless.tumblr.com) and  usually aired from 2am-6am Philippines time on weekdays (Sometimes the schedule Varies). The regular DJ is the curly haired and energetic dude “Alven Villavicencio”  ( Facebook Page: http://www.facebook.com/DJAlven , Twitter @alveniscurly ). There are active group of listeners and they call themselves “TMAers” (Obviously, i’m one of them). To make the long story short, “That’s it” LOL…. Well i just find it awesome…. #HeckYeah #HighFive.

I was curious about the Trending Topics “Tomorrow is 4/20″ & “Happy 420″,then i found out 4/20 is Hitler’s Birthday & 420 is regarding Weed.

Full Details Below:

Adolf Hitler:

Adolf Hitler (German: [ˈadɔlf ˈhɪtlɐ] ( listen); 20 April 1889 – 30 April 1945) was an Austrian-born German politician and the leader of the National Socialist German Workers Party (German: Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei (NSDAP), commonly referred to as the Nazi Party). He was chancellor of Germany from 1933 to 1945 and dictator of Nazi Germany (as Führer und Reichskanzler) from 1934 to 1945. Hitler is commonly associated with the rise of fascism in Europe, World War II, and the Holocaust.

420 (cannabis culture):

**I**

420, 4:20, or 4/20 (pronounced four-twenty) refers to consumption of cannabis and, by extension, a way to identify oneself with cannabis subculture. Observances based on the number include the time (4:20 p.m.) as well as the date (April 20).[1]

The earliest use of the term began among a group of teenagers in San Rafael, California in 1971.[2][3] Calling themselves the Waldos, because “their chosen hang-out spot was a wall outside the school,”[4] the group first used the term in connection to a fall 1971 plan to search for an abandoned cannabis crop that they had learned about.[5] The Waldos designated the Louis Pasteur statue on the grounds of San Rafael High School as their meeting place, and 4:20 p.m. as their meeting time.[4] The Waldos referred to this plan with the phrase “4:20 Louis”. Multiple failed attempts to find the crop eventually shortened their phrase to simply “4:20″, which ultimately evolved into a codeword the teens used to mean pot-smoking in general.[5]

High Times editor Steven Hager wrote “Are You Stoner Smart or Stoner Stupid?” (October 1998) in which he called for 4:20 p.m. to be the socially accepted hour of the day to consume cannabis.

First, what “420″ doesn’t mean:

• 420 isn’t the number of a bill in U.S. Congress to legalize pot, despite many people thinking it is.

• 420 isn’t the police or penal code for marijuana possession in California (or any other state), though many people believe that, as well.

• Nor is 420 is the number of chemical compounds in cannabis, the pot plant, though many authors seem fond of stating so.

What 420 is, whether expressed in the form 4:20 (as a time of day), 4/20 (as a calendar date), or just the unadorned numeral (pronounced “four-twenty”), is a universal, unofficial symbol for the use and appreciation of marijuana. In fact, 4/20 (April 20) has come to be known in certain circles as “Marijuana Appreciation Day.”

’420′ origin and history

Notwithstanding the many and various urban legends that have grown up about the meaning of “420″ and its connection with marijuana, the true story behind it is surprisingly prosaic. In the early 1970s a small group of hippie stoners at San Rafael High School in northern California used to meet at a designated location every day to smoke pot at 4:20 p.m. They did this so regularly that among members of the group “420″ became a general euphemism for lighting up.

The catchphrase spread beyond their immediate circle, beyond the high school they attended, and ultimately beyond California, so that within a decade or two pot smokers were using it across the country and indeed the world over.

How popular is the expression today? A Google search on the paired terms “420″ and “marijuana” brings up more than 6 million results, including a link to the website of 420 Magazine, a publication dedicated to what it refers to as “cannabis awareness.”
